    muzzariti,
At present in Qld we pay around 22c/kwh for power for which the distributor pays 6-7c/kwh, the threefold markup covering distribution, transmission losses, profit, etc. I would like to know what the consumer pays for the PV rooftop component, for which the distributor pays 45c/kwh? My cynical assumption is that it just gets bundled into "power costs" and it all gets tripled and passed on to the captive consumers but maybe I'm being pessimistic... one thing I'm certain about, the 45 cents doesn't come from the pocket of a generous government.

    BB.
