Sounds like a bit of a blubber there pete222. Your lot will really have something to blubber about when the modest price on fossil carbon is seen for what it is. The only industry that will be significantly affected from what I can predict is aluminium refining. For some perverse reason we taxpayers have been subsidising that industry for decades. That subsidy will hopefully be unsustainable under the carbon pricing regime.
We subsidise aluminium refining at levels of hundreds of thousands of dollars per worker per year. In return the refiners take their profits offshore
