Warnie, Lynas have estimated production costs at $10kg but most of the analysts I've read have already loaded it to $15kg so I'm not sure how you can justify a 50% increase on the analysts costs, which is already a 50% loading on the Lynas estimate.
Lynas have stated that other than the original Rhodia contract the balance are priced to market. The Rhodia deal was done well before the price spike and involves tech exchange from Rhodia.
IMO the Lynas/Rhodia relationship, apart from building the largest, most advanced RE plant, will be the catalyst for Lynas emerging as the dominant supplier of CREO over the next 3/4 years.
Lynas have typically been very low key on this but there's enough pieces of the puzzle out there to put it together.
