You’ve made a couple of valid points. I agree that it’s not the strength of the product name that’s so important, it’s the strength of the product. And the issue of trademarks is, as you say, also very important.

So, as we’ve had lots of suggestions thrown into the ring, I thought I’d run just a quick Australian registered trademark check against all the suggestions.

Unsurprisingly TL,Fat and Cellulite Destroying Thinning Bodyshaper Cellucreme hasn’t been taken already. And I’m not so sure that it’s about to go quickly either :)

Next up we had SUD’s suggestions, the wonderfully direct AssDimplesBeGone and I thought we might throw the keenly observed Apples ain’t apples into the mix. The good news SUDs is that neither are already taken. The bad news is you might quickly have lawyers from a certain famous MNC on your doorstep with the second suggestion and my reservation with the first is, why should just asses get all the benefits? We shouldn’t be limiting.

Sorry makka , Thighsbuster and a hundred variations on it are already taken. And again,limiting... what about those arms, guts and chins Elixia will also want to attack.

So to POS and BSW’s favoured name, Cellucreme. Sadly, this is also already taken.

As is Jeva’s suggestion of Cellugel.

But, as has been said before, POH does already have a registered name, and that's Bodyshaper.
