In that time oil price has declined from $110 to $80. I'd say that conditions for securing a good price in any deal for alternative fuel technology would be hampered by a low and declining oil price. If I was Linc I would be tempted to walk away till the conditions are favourable rather than give it away in a brief downturn.

If they have to hold off on the deal till price of the oil and energy commodities improves and they can achieve a better price then so be it. If they are hard up for cash then maybe they will be forced to do a deal on GCL terms sooner rather than later.

Either way I would not be surprised if we have to wait a bit longer for an announcement.

In the meanwhile into the second half of 2012 we could see conflict in the middle east spreading from the Syrian sectarian issues and Iran nuclear intransigence issues leading to regional war fears and oil price movements.

The future is uncertain.
