Freehold,Tazman,Uncleart, once again you seem determined to shoot the messenger because my research is not to your liking and doesn't fit your agenda. Freehold as for pointing out the difference between north and east as you suggested I do ....... Well below you'll find a series of publicly available maps put together as a collage which clearly demonstrate the location of Santos's PSC's a long way to the north and northeast of QPN's ground.I wonder if you even know the name of Santos's PSC's ...do you ? I am not posting the full map which I bought from PT Patra Nusa Data ,you can contact them yourselves if you so wish .The collage below though clearly shows that Santos does NOT hold ground to the east of QPN.If you persist in suggesting it does then your ignorance and or deceit will be plain for all to see. Ok the first small yellow map to the top left is QPN's Ranau PSC .I have drawn arrows to show how it fits into the Patra Nusa Data map to the top right.Ok so do we agree that is the location of their ground ? Let's move on now to the map below recently released by NGY which shows a number of PSC's for coal bed methane. The dark blue and aqua coloured blocks numbered 1 and 2 are NGY's ground(I have arrowed to where you can see them on the bottom collage) You can see the light blue block held by Dart Energy clearly.Look to the east now at the 2 large blocks marked 3 and 4.They are Santos's PSC's Ogan Komering 1 and Ogan Komering 2 .Now on the top right map you will see a lease shaded in dark grey, that is NGY's blocks which you will see in the bottom map are shaded in aqua blue.Check the shape of the blocks if you have doubts. Now after you have had a look for a while please tell me if you understand the difference between north and east. Can you see ??? Do you understand now that it is impossible to describe Santos's blocks as bordering QPN to the east unless you use a very large dose of "poetic licence" and an equally large dose of deception?? Now just in case you still doubt that those two large blocks marked 3 and 4 in the bottom map of the collage is Santos ground the last map is clearly marked and is part of a presentation by Santos earlier this year.Check the shape of the blocks and hey presto there you are it is the same as the blocks marked 3 and 4 in the collage above. Now if you wish to continue to believe I am wrong that is your own issue to deal with but please do not suggest to others on this thread that Santos PSC's border QPN on the east.Furthermore I suggest you talk to some people in the industry to understand that Santos's ground to the north is situated on top of very extensive coal deposits hence their interest in CBM and their ground does not hold conventional oil and gas
