I was under the impression that RC has options to buy shares as part of his renumeration package, they are not a gift he has to buy them. They maybe at a discount but only if he can pull this company out of the mire. JH was more than adequately rewarded for his under performance. And for those who claim it was the board that made him do everything slowly, poorly, badly then that only reinforces my view that he was not the right man to run the company into discovery and production. One moment we are chasing oil, then helium then coal!! Then back to oil.. blind freedy should have known that oil was the best option to get some sort of cash flow.. I am sure if he was even partially successful he would have been rewarded. CTP needs to provide a 'potentially' genereous renumeration package to attract someone of quality who can pick it up and make something of it, else all they have is their salary. At the moment we are in the crapper, virtually everthing is riding on surprise and possible JVs. JV partners are not going to jump into bed with CTP if they do not have faith in the people leading CTP which I suspect was a past issue. lets hope potential JV partners have greater confidence in RC and company.
