if i was you i would go get a loan and try to make it on my own first,
if you crash and burn then you only take yourself down
the problem with 12 months is that its to short a time frame, its also easy making money on 20 k its a lot harder to make the same return on 200 k or 2 million.
finally dont forget outside factors, i owned lots of qbe shares when the planes went into the wtc. didnt see that coming or did the markets. The japan reactors, the gfc etc etc.
Theres lots of things to stuff you up and make you look silly other than your own ability
