Who needs some so called god to be decent - I sure do not.
Anyhow how do you know what jesus or anyone else said thousands of years ago. After all even with cameras and microphones stuck in every corner we still cannot believe what is purportedly said by someone today so what chance is there of history in a time when few could read or write.
Most people seem to use god as an excuse for their own weakness has been my experience.
Honesty and decency comes from within and is nothing to do with religion.
