The crying shame in all of this is that it is quite possible to make beautiful banana veneer on a commercial scale.
All they have to do is get past 'someone's' egotistical psychopathic insistance on controlling everything and let a real engineer work out a system for pressing and drying the wet veneer. I have a system myself, but who wants to know?
