Unfortunately you will probably find that the process will be fruitless. An ACN number will imply that you are not an employee but a contractor/self-employed individual.
These roles are hyped with promises but as you can see that it is a con.
The more you think about it, the more it will do your head on. I suspect that you have to right it off as a learning experience.
