benbradley, it may be the "corrupt" capitalist that are behind the push for the ETS and they could be the actual instigators of the push. The trading aspect of the ETS smells of profit making and nothing to do with the social aspect.

There is sufficient proof to claim he could be either, depending on what facts you add to you argument and what facts you omit from your argument.
Lapdog, the previous referendum for a republic in 1999 was worded in such a way that it was not likely to succeed. I remember at the time thinking that it appeared the questions were worded intentionally with the purpose of getting a negative response. Maybe that was just me.
