Funkymonk.......always enjoy your analysis and thoughtful posts.I am not a follower of VSA,but appreciate it's usefulness.And I 100% agree with your statements regarding picking bottoms and defining trends.In a 'normal' market I would do as you would suggest.However,these markets have been anything but normal..fear has reigned supreme....and when quite a few companies come out with updates and profit guidelines,not just CCC,but others....well then you know that things are crook.So with that in mind,I threw Technical analysis out the window on CCC today and bought in.It was a DISCRETIONARY decision based on the fact that I felt CCC was well oversold and in my view there was little downside left in the price.Of course I am going to and have used MONEY MANAGEMENT rules and STOP LOSS to manage my trade.

Trading is difficult and sometimes discretion replaces Technical analysis.
