Am I alone in thinking that people put n a lot of time and effort in trying to work out what's going to happen ,yet with all the best intentions and skill they're only guessing ,and to what end ? .The markets invariably find a way of making a fool out of anyone who thinks they've got it figured.

I guess I've gotten a bit obstreperous in my old age but after a lifetime of listening to people with a raft of fundamental analysis or charts with lines drawn all over them I don't even bother anymore worrying about where markets might be headed because history says you're more likely to get it wrong than right ,whoever you are .People have been crawling all over here since I've been posting predicting large falls ,even crashes ,sometimes a bullish run,usually after its happenned ,that's no knock on anyone ,just an observation that if you think about it too much you get analysis paralysis . Markets are generally going sideways or up so you need to be in markets to make money .If they go down they usually do it quicky so you need to have precautions n place in the caes that happens. It's pretty simple if you're not the intellectual type
