My calculations are not 'off', what I said was correct. Banks draw funds from deposits and other financial institutions, not from the reserve bank.
I understand how leveraging works, however it was not relevant towards davids comment.
1.5% leveraged at 10:1 is still only 15% before overheads, nowhere near the 94% figure suggested by david.
