zonetrader, you dismiss the viabilty of wind & solar power, why?

I don't expect that we could become 100% reliant on green energy in the immediate future but we can move towards being less dependent of fossil fuels & eventualy have most of our power from green energy.

One example is Albany WA, 80% of their power is provided by wind farms. So that is only 20% of their power that is generated with fossil fuels. Thats pretty impresive considering it's already been done, the CT will provide the incentive for more of that to happen.

On another note, there is work being done on other types of energy that would be fast tracked now. One that comes to mind is Bio Hydrogen that is made from waste including sewage & using sunlight, huge power potential with emmisions that is just H2O. It's been proven to produce on the small scale & work is underway to make a commercial size prosses work.
