Appears they have found one or more zones, it also appears they will be turning it into a horizontal.....funny that, think I recall hearing something about horizontals before....
Basically they will identify the most productive looking zone and then some 500ft prior to that, will start it from the kick off point and drill the lateral along the prospective payzone.
If they follow the US, then the lateral could be as long as 5000ft and should (hopefully) include multistage fraccing.
My example for this is simple....You go to have blood taken, they don't just stick the needle in your arm and hope for blood....they insert it up a vein. Its the same principal.
Plenty of excellent videos on this subject. If it all goes well, then it could be a high volume well. In the US at present they are even running multiple laterals from the same initial well head. I will post a pic later on it for you.
