Any WA mine site or resource operation which isn't a Committed Project or a mining operation with a forward agreement in place is at risk of commodity spot price fluctuations.
WA resource operations were built to be able to have the plug pulled and switched into maintenance mode within a couple of weeks notice. I'm not sure if you recall but during GFC 1.0 back in 2008 when commodities tanked hard a lot of these operations were switched into maintenance mode and shutdown until demand returned to the market.
