    Orga,

    1. Jugglers are cool all the time even if ones attention span is short. Entertainment in Covent Garden is more like spec oil plays than you think. Sometimes they amaze you with things that you wouldn't have imagined but when they have done this we demand more else we take our money and go elsewhere. Whilst distracted with their performances there is often somebody with their hand in your pocket trying to help themselves to your money. Sounds familiar doesn't it ?

    2. Oil is there but we don't know how much of it will come up. If we believe "none" will come up then the SP will $0.00. If we believe lots will come up then the SP will be much higher. Concensus belief sets the SP. Belief is hugely relevant and if we all looked only at the worst case then we would never dare buy speculative stock for fear of the risks. Daring to believe that it can be done based on observation, experience and just a smidgion of hope are the basic ingredients necessary to invest in speculative oil plays.

    3. Its ironic to say "Let's encourage opposing views rather than rubbish them" whilst attacking a poster for doing nothing more than discussing why he doesn't agree with a view put forward. Seems non-beleivers are allowed to say whatever they like including repeatedly calling those that are more positive names like "rampers" and "fan club", but if anybody dares to question the points of a somebody who is negative then instantly we see the old "they are entitled to their view" trotted out. Everybody agrees that they are entitled to their view but they are not special and their comments are not beyond question and rerort. Anybody who posts on a public forum should expect their comments to be scrutenized and they should be completely aware that with a population that uses the web now measured in the billions, that there will be people who disagree with them.

    4. "Should listen to opposing views and not ignore out of hand". We all know Sandys views and on occassions some of us agree with him, just not all the time and not on everything. Sandys posts frequently and despite his fears his posts are widely read. In fact logic tells me that if people like Chrysipp37 are responding specifically to Sandys with counter arguments then they are both reading and considering his points, even if they don't have answers to the questions that Sandys repeatedly asks. Sandys asks these questions knowing full well that the answers are as yet unknown.

To assume that any time somebody dares to say "I don't agree" that they are dismissing it "out of hand" is to say that nobody can ever respond to any statement unless they agree with it. That would make for very short, or one sided conversations wouldn't it ?

The above said, Sandys and others often critise other posters who have more bullish views. I don't see you jumping on Sandys telling him that he "Should listen to opposing views and not ignore out of hand". Does the rule only go one way ? Is it wrong of me as a more bullish poster to respond to your post offering a different point of view to yours for example?

    5. You are completely right. 7c is a lame target but so is 15c. Please bring back the days when we dare to talk about real targets once more. Targets set by acheivable expectations however, not by a CEOs comments in a sales presentation. No doubt many will feel great relief when we get back to 15c and that is where we once again feel we can dream big, while being suitable diversified for risk mitigation of course.

POO has turned. End of fin year selloff has also finished. SSN management are in a better mood after their recent embarrasment. A number of factors have turned in our favour and the SP arrow has changed direction. I "believe" it will go much higher. I can't prove it but I have a few million reasons to give it the time necessary to sort itself out. I'm bullish and proud of it. I'd like to know all the answers just like Sandy would but I don't know all the answers for any of the stock I hold and I can't let that stop me making decisions based on what is known.
