In South Africa the British first invented concentration camps to imprison the local dutch settlers during the Boer War.
Thousands... women and children... died from disease and malnutrition.
In Germany the Nazi party took it all to a higher level and built concentration camps deliberately for the purpose of killing people.
Millions died.
In the Soviet Union they called them Gulags.
Tens of millions more died.
In every case for more than a hundred years concentration camps have been built to house the LOCAL population... and been the cause of death and misery from starvation, disease and murder.
In Australia concentration camps have been built to imprison people without a voice of their own or any other form of defence... and misery is the result.
Somehow it hasn't occurred to you these places are always built to house the local population.
