Yeah Raider I've been actively trading the market since 1974 ( I started young ) so I've got a bit of an understanding of what can happen ,but despite experience being the only real way of learning I've still seen the same people keep doing the same things wrong over the time period since ,even though they understand that they're doing it . These people have been without exception pessimistic by nature ,so my belief is that it's often not a matter of learning it's more a matter of understanding oneself .It explains why the markets are so trecherous for many and not too much of a bother for others.

Mind you I've seen plenty of bullish optimists do their shirt as well (lol) ,sometimes disastrously ,but generally they seem to have the capacity to bounce back. '87 was the worst ,I know quite a few that never came back from that and they missed the biggest bull this century . '08 really worries me because the market players had suckered every man and his dog into stocks by then and most of them have sworn off for life .They're going to be left agape by another massive bull which isn't too far away comparatively ,we just need to put all of these current issues to bed over the next year or two.

So yeah ,I'm hangin in there ,ready to divest funds at the first sniff ,but that's me
