Hi kincellaI do not know from personal experience but from all that I have read the best advice is diet including as maldowl has said water, minimum of 2 litres per day of filtered water and remove all the carbohydrates possible from the diet. Improve the body's ph level to a positive levelLink to water information web site Restrict carbohydrates to fruit and veg and increase the protein. This encourages the body to improve the sugar balance itselfThis regime should also lower the weight which will help tp improve the back problemI know that being a good cook means that you appreciate and like food, not good as just you eat too much. Not advice, just information from my reading DYOR
