apparently all the pundits are now saying...you have just witnessed the end of the price boom in the housing market....
so I wondered, was the boom similar to the gold rush.... where some people made their fortunes....and others missed out..
what if you were there in the gold rush days...would you have packed your swag and headed off to the goldfields...
or would you have stayed at home, and sniggered...they are fools, it can never last....we will sit here, and buy the gold off them for a 50% plus discount
then watched in envy as your neighbour brought home bags of gold, and then enjoyed a very comfortable life...
I suggest the mining boom, has triggered another gold rush era....some people are taking advantage of it.... the others are wishing they could share the spoils
and why have house prices been rising, been a sought after commodity, for the past 100 years.... regardless of gold rushes, depressions, world wars...and all the other dips and troughs in our history....
