What is required by one may be too much or not enough for others.
The web site you gave made one thing clear that like most things there appears to be more that we don't know than what we do know.
I know with myself I have always sweated a lot, I have had to take salt and minerals to rehydrate always. I know that if I have an illness and increase my water intake it clears up quickly, now this may be just my own natural anti bodies kicking but it works for me and everything that I have read tell me that most people do not drink enough water
