Hi Squidd and Yowie
I value and appreciate views from those contradicting the consensus – I follow Hotcopper for this insight not to reinforce my past decisions and make me feel better about my position in a stock on a downward trend.
Given your long time following of SDL and you having previously held SDL shows some belief in its fundamentals, I would be interested to know if you have any plans/strategy to re-enter, whether it be reaching a certain price or finally hitting one of these milestones.
There is a lot of discussion of whether SDL is under-priced or being ripped off by Hanlong but I would be interested in hearing what others not attached to the stock (as Squidd and Yowie have shown) believe is a fair price is for the stock. There is obviously a lot of emotional attachment in this stock (myself included).
I see the current share price reflecting the bias of the market away from risking capital ie it’s more important not to make a 25% loss than to make a 25% profit.
To give my view on the state of play, I think the share price is reflective of the risk of pulling this together over the coming months. I’m sitting with Baukaw in that my focus is on Hanlong closing this deal and getting my capital back with nice profit, hopefully in 2012. Anything above that is a bonus.
Cheers
