Did this all happen as reported by the Tel Aviv boys and did ANP get the $4 large as reported (way back I know.)?

TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) -- Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (US:teva) and Antisense Therapeutics Ltd. (AU:ANP) said that a Phase IIa study of ATL/TV1102 "significantly reduced disease activity in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis." The double-blind placebo-controlled study met its primary endpoint by reducing the total number of new active lesions in patients taking the drug for eight weeks compared with those taking a placebo. The results were measured by magnetic-resonance imaging, the drugmakers, based in Jerusalem and Melbourne respectively, said. Based on the results, Teva said it would do more preclinical and clinical research before continuing to a Phase III study. Meantime, the decision to go forward requires Teva to pay Antisense $4 million for meeting a milestone. The drug was discovered by Isis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (US:isis) of Carlsbad, Calif., which licensed it to Antisense. In turn, Teva and Antisense have a license accord related to the drug.
