Nathan, if you consider that the 2 trades on Friday were designed to drop the SP...then it is possible that management have already done a deal with a broker to raise X amount of dollars at at discount to VWAP. Hence such moves just allow the broker to get a cheaper price NO?

So in that case, yes it is being manipulated, but not for the reasons others were possibly implying.
