I keep an eye on LYC because I have followed it for years as it bought into the rare earth story. I have profited from it. It is tragic how it has gone. If I were younger I would buy now but I am too old to take the risk. The stuff up in Malaysia has been very damaging and not due to any fault on the part of LYC, IMHO.
The one thing going for LYC is that if they do not get what they need then there will be huge egg on the face of the Malaysians. It should do great damage to them because it will expose the serious sovereign risk it will expose. What company will then want to invest there if LYC lose.
