re: Ann: EOS and Hyundai join forces for Remo... I'd like to think of this as a positive move but I'm not sure. On the plus side we have to acknowledge that Hyundai has manufacturing and research facilities we could never match here. It is also in a position to open many doors.
On the negative side I am still to hear of an Australian company that went into a joint venture with a Chinese company and came out of it unskinned. Whats' the relevance? Well Koreans are about three times as canny in business as Chinese.
As to the car, I know only one person who bought a Hyundai. He drove it over 400,000km without putting a spanner on it. He reckoned it was as reliable as a VW Beetle. Then he bought another one and did a similar mileage without a hiccup. It was still going strong last time I heard. Would I buy one? I still don't know. Gee, aren't we a suspicious lot?
