Let us not forget the shale rocks at lower levels; John Heugh kept making a point of this shale because of the way that the shale rocks have been SO SO productive in the USA.

Having been a junior geo. on the nearby Mereenie and Palm Valley fields, I can remember the delighted looks on the faces of senior geos when we brough up the shale drilling cores on these fields.

Shale is now supplying increasing proportions of oil in the USA, as imports have been cut back. This is REAL stuff, and to me VERY VERY exciting. Conix
