They will not go to election before May budget 2013. That is when Labor will announce large tax cuts for business. Tony will have a seizure trying to work out how to reject it. Town hall meetings and TV debates will see him have to try and worm his way out of that - he will be a ball of sweat and flubber. Electorate will see that the man has no substance.
If by any chance Labor change leaders prior to the election they will go with Smith. He is calm, intelligent, articulate and has avoided any of the factional fighting or foot in mouth comments from other Labor ministers. In a TV debate between leaders he would be a shining beacon when compared to Abbott.
