Kevin Rudd remains Australians' preferred PM by a long way over both Julia Gillard & Tony Abbott. Labor would be crazy to deny the public an end to the Rudd story.
Even though our macro-economic KPIs are excellent, most people turnoff whenever Julia Gillard speaks. Only Tony Abbott is keeping her in the top job & at some stage soon Labor MPs must take heed of the world outside Caucus.
No-one else in Labor is well enough known by the public to become leader & establish themselves in just 12-15 months. If it's not Rudd then Gillard will lead Labor to a an electoral slaughter that will inflict the most reactionary, myopic leader Australia has ever known.
