I remember growing up. If you got in a bar fight you wouldn't put in the boot if you dropped the guy. It was always one on one. And after the fight win or lose you'd get up shake off the dust and have another schooner.
In a way civilization disapears once we stop acting civilized. So it's ok to beat someone senseless. But don't put in the boot when he's down. That's just cowardly. And be man enough if you lost to get up, shake off the dust and buy the winner a beer.
That's not seen no more. Neither is turning the glass upside down. Or females of good standing remaining in the lounge bar. Things have changed. For the better. Not really.
