why would I be looking to snare a few measly dollars for a carer allowance
I am a self funded retiree, not eligible for the age pension.... so equally, not eligible for carers payments
I have no intention of gifting my assets away to become eligible, and therefore living in poverty for the rest of my life
the rent allowance for centrelink customers, is a massive $110 a fortnight......whooppee...is that going to make a killing...make me wealthy....be a massive financial windfall for the pensioner ?
caring for a family member, is not about money.... in our house, its done for love
