Reckon merlinleigh is more valuable within NSE, similar area, target and expertise are required from NSE to explore and develop the project.
Regarding EXR it was a high risk punt for minimal capital on future shale exploration approvals in france. Unless they are thinking of joint venturing with EXR down the track, that investment has so far not paid off and does not look like it anytime soon.
