Maybe being stuck at 12c isn't such a bad thing.
My watchlist of coal stocks is CCC, MTE, UNV, RES, CLR and CPL. All have been hammered far harder than ZYL, so I'm thankful for small mercies. My view is that our focus on anthracite is our saving grace, especially compared to those companies focusing on thermal. Having a ready market for anthracite in South Africa is also significant. These are our points of difference that set us apart from all the other coal plays on the market. Having said that, we don't have funding 'in the bag', and markets right now are simply horrible.
Been buying these since late 2010, and have watched the story unfold. Just a shame that this dog of a market has crimped what should be a great ride.
