I don't think it's just the last announcement. There have been hints of excitement about PB since they acquired it, imo. And outright statements. Writing has been on the wall for anyone who cares to read it.
I agree with your sentiment though - thanks to everyone who has read, questioned and shared. The unresearched headline hysteria gets tiresome so it's always good to have thinkers. imo
