Well it seems no-one thinking of investing in UK.
The other part of my question relates to how some of you more seasoned investors model your portfolio.
What seems to be the norm over the last ten years is to load up as much as you can and rely on negative gearing and capital growth to deliver the returns.
Like I said, I am thinking of : -
buying one property outright in the UK for about 150k.
Then I would buy another one and pay it down as quickly as possible using the rent, the rent from the first, and some tip in from me.
When that one is paid down I would buy another one and pay it down using the rent, the rent from the first, the rent from the second, and some tip in from me....
etc etc
Have any of you used a model like this?
Any thoughts/critique of this model?
