Production cost was high due to:-
1. Tight Labour
2. One time production distruption and
most importantly

3. Care and maintenance cost of Mt Gordon operations, which was closed in 2011 amounted $34Mn in 2011 and $6Mn in 2012.
4. Production Rampup cost was high in 2012 for Mt Gordon.

We do not know the present condition for the first point.
NO NEWS is GOOD NEWS for the second point.
Third and fourth should NOT be a problem if consensus estimate on CU holds good. SO FAR SO VERY GOOD..

Mine life should not be a major issue. This will be public after Q1 FY 2013, as ABY promised to give the DFS and mine life taking into account the new drill results for Mt Gordon.
