Just a bit of history.

I was first attracted to the XJO thread through the contributions of Voltaire, Farsight, The Prophet, Treggs and others whose names I can't now remember. That was back, I think, in 2006.

Reading the (very-early-morning) intra-day trading commentary of the likes of Voltaire, Farsight and The Prophet (particularly re. American market) was simply fascination. The banter between Voltaire and Farsight, always good humoured, was worth an entry fee. Of course, more importantly, was the educational value.

Of those on the above list, Voltaire is the only one still active. Farsight made a brief appearance recently.

Voltaire goes back much longer than my brief memory. His contribution here is legendary.

Haspete and Mongo are another couple of long-termers I should mention for their valued contributions. Perhaps others can contribute names that have slipped my mind.

Hats off to the legends.
