I initially thought it would be useful to keep JH around in some less senior capacity, now I am not so sure. It is likely that having him around will be a distraction for management going forward, i.e. continue to be a bone of contention between the various parties, it can also mean staff have allegiances to different masters. Even the hotcopper group is split on should he stay or should he go. He has gone, bringing him back is unlikely to result in a happier working environment going forward and we may start to see different agenda's being played out. We need to have one master RC for me in charge. Sorry JH.
