With all due respect UniversalTrader, why do you draw the conclusion that if they were an intelligent designer then that would make the case for God more complex and unlikely? The creation had to be intelligently designed otherwise it would fail and cease to exist. Everything built has to be intelligently designed in order for it to ensure it's survival and or longevity.
