What a lot of bears on HC don't realise is that the market is not going to spiral downwards. What is happening, and has happened in the past, is that the bargains are out there as a result of this type of indiscreet borrowing. You can pick these up and do well, however when over 30% of homes are owned outright , majority can pay easily and have good equity forget about market capitulation as that just will not happen. All this is not new and sensationalism from the have nots here will not change anything. Property in OZ is going to be expensive for a long long time.
