Not sure if anyone’s had a read of the interview between Aust Small Cap and Cath Norman.

Summary of FAR’s assets & activities...

Two Kenyan blocks – as we know Apache drilling in between FAR’s blocks next month. Anadarko and BG are also planning to drill in Kenya before the end of the year.

Senegal – 3D just finished. Would take at least 2 months to analyse but at the same time hoping to announce a drill partner by end of the year. Also by end of year/early 2013 Africa Petroleum drilling a prospect in the Gambia and their prospect overlaps into FAR’s Senegal.

Guinea-Bissau – There is already an oil field in FAR’s acreage which FAR plans to drill an appraisal well next year. Shallow waters means lower cost (approx $30m as oppose to $100m+ in deeper waters) and looking to go it alone.

CM also hinted FAR has some bids in for other highly competitive acreage / new ground floor opportunities.
