its all guesstimates but what i do is rely on previous fields within the CB western oil flank and extrapolate results
for example, bauer has three key qualities to suggest it will be very big.
-The net pay zone comes in at about 25-35% bigger than your everage namur field
- the reservior qulaity is continually referred to ask excellent supportung strong flow rates
- the structure has continued northerly higher than prognosed suggestinga deeper oil pool/structure
- the structural area as defined by is large
- the size of the 3p number for these stage of development drilling is very big

I do a very similarly excercise with Birkhead, the main differnce been as Birkhead amplitudes much higher to pick on seismic it often takes development drilling to delinate a field so the additionla wells will give us a sense of size, but again at this stage the results suggest a biggish birkhead field so if i consider we have a biggish birkhead field sitting on top of a huge namur field, what we have is a monster that will likely produce 4000 bopd net for BPT or 120-130 million of revenue per annum for a 4-8 years maybe more
