Jan, the thing about Anonymous is that it could be you or I- it is not organised, has no leaders, and exists all over the world. If you showed up to an event about something you believed in- could be anything- and wore a Guy Falkes mask, or a bandanna over your face, or something like that, then you would be anonymous, too (with or without the capital "A"). The film "V for Vendetta" brought the mask into popularity. If you look up Anonymous on youtube, you'll see a huge array of videos of people being "A/anonymous" with the mask,and discussing a variety of causes, or what they're about.

It's a movement, rather than a group, if ya know what I mean.
