I'd hate it if some of you guys had to read my Geotechnical Engineering reports. I use a lot of words like "expect" "indicate" and "probable." Because I can never deliver with absolute certainty a picture of the ground conditions and soil /rock behaviour on the basis of a few boreholes and some testing. Also my Professional Indemnity insurance wouldn't cover me if I did.
Applying the same yardstick you guys have used to Steven Mercer and the TIS team to my work I'd be in court every 3 weeks. I have never seen SM release an announcement that promises with absolute certainty that the CE Mark will be delivered by a certain date - only that, on the basis of advice from the assessing body, they process will take X weeks, or will be completed.
To those suggesting that there is something wrong with the claims relating to the science or technical issues regarding Vitrogrow I'll remind you that TIS stated that BSI has mentioned that the TIS submission is one of the strongest they have seen.
