Thanks Chelkn for your continued excellent commentary on BCI .
I haven't kept pace with all the ( no doubt ) recent discussion on expansion/acquisition/ dividends ..so any further feedback would be welcome .
Reading Mike's reported comments in today's papers , he's darn right about this being the right circumstances for "timely "acquisitions....but I also would expect the Board would be thinking of its "corporate responsibilities" to maybe reward shareholders with a dividend .

Not sure if thats what the major holders would want /need ( Regent might!) ....but I guess the difficulty with starting the dividend payments , that there is almost an expectation that they would continue ?
One off dividends are nice ---but if expansion is in the Directors' minds , then any subsequent capital raising , and/or dilution by issue of further paper ( if this was necessary ) would sort of "negate " the benefit of the dividend ?
Undoubtedly now , that dividends seem sustainable ( 10c puts a small chink in the cash box ) ...and I guess you could do IF Directors make it clear that if future opportunistic acquisitions presented , that dividends MAY NOT be continuous.
Terrific dilemma for the Board and shareholders to be in .
Apologies if this has recently been debated in a more considered and concise way ...but comments apppreciated .
