What I'm saying mojo is that politicians often act under a pretext and take credit for the pretext - for example the American Civil War was not fought over slavery, it was fought over control and territory, but slavery was the justification for starting the war. Same with Iraq - not a threat to the US but a key pawn in the control of oil. The US set up saddam for that purpose, but now he is the pretext for the same purpose.
