    Guys/Gals,

I get the sense that many of you could not stomach a 'RED' economy out doing the champion of the free (USA) in business

It just not sit well with your view of the world

You all think One way or another China will collapse and the natural order of things will restore themselves

But things are never BLACK & WHITE.

It is just an accident of history that China became communist
In WWII Japan destroyed the right wing forces in China - so when the war ended the Mao could defeat the already decimated Nationalists- So China became Communist

    Chinese are natural capitalists
    - that is their true nature
and gradually since then they have became more & more capitalistic and now money can nearly buy anything in China (i.e corruption)

Isn't that the ultimate in Capitalism when money buys anything!

It is true the Communists inflicted huge damage on Chinese society but the current govt is slowly but surely bending to will of the masses who are less easily manipulated.

The standard of living of the average Chinese citizen has improve enormously in the last 20 years - China was a country of bicycles at the time of Tienanmen - now it produces and buys more cars than any nation on Earth.
